Unofficial Official Chat Thread

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT.

opens TF2

If you idle’d you lose your items gained through idling, if you didn’t you get a free hat =D

I didn’t idled and I don’t have that hat D=

Well I also only played twice or so in the last 6 months.

Try restarting Steam and launching TF2 a few times, should show up.

Fucking Valve, lucky I deleted all my dupes.

Guess it’s back to achievement_idle.

Or, you know, just playing the fucking game properly.

Now where’s the fun in that?

But did you delete the right ones?

I had auto-delete dupes enabled in the Idler so yes, they we all the right ones.

The Team Fortress 2 section in SPUF is like a black hole of stupidity. Some of the threads are amazing!

Just had a peek, laughed my ass off. Take this for example:

Does anyone want to help me hax some of my dods achievements?

I had no idea the steam forums were filled with whiny spoiled babies.

Oh, how I love moderating a gaming forum.

The Gamespy forums have been quite inactive for the past year or two. Only about 30 members have been posting on and off, and it is quite unusual for anyone to get more than ten posts a week.

A new member just showed up (could be an old troll with a new name and IP address, but whatever), and all of a sudden the place has a few new topics every couple of hours, with tons of stuff to talk about. So what does everyone do? They derail his topics and start attacking him with spam of their own, demanding that I ban him.

I threaten one of the old members (that tows the ban line as it is) with a ban for spamming, and all of a sudden I’m the badguy for not taking all of the new-found activity away from the people that have been begging the admins to figure out new ways to make the place more active…

I just love being in charge…

Kill yourself, its the only way!!

SHUT

DOWN

EVERYTHING.

Is there a way to eliminate mouse-lag on the Steam version of Half-Life? I have it running at my monitor’s native resolution, and am past the recommended requirements, but the mouse still feels…off, I suppose. I didn’t think this really warranted its own thread.

There isn’t an option to force V-Sync? Because IIRC mouse lag can be caused by a lack of it.

Unless it’s a console, or launch-bound thing, no.

That is my Video settings window in it.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
