Well, funnily enough, the DVLA (British driving licence agency) seem to think I’m a vampire, they got my name wrong on my licence - called me Villiam McBrien. I half wanted to keep it so I could say I was Villiam Of Tranysylvania :smiley:

You won’t believe how many times people have misspelled my name on documents or trying to pronounce it.

In contrast, I think people have spelled it properly about a few, maybe a dozen times, out of about 12000 times I’ve seen my name written somewhere or spoken.

My name is Sergey Botsman. In my Canadian passport and birth certificate, it’s clearly written Sergiy Bostman.

I’ve always thought of it as funny fact, but my friends say it’s a curse and that I should change my name.
