I watched Paranormal Activity yesterday and it was much more scary than I expected. Usually when a movie says “The blankest movie ever made” it doesn’t live up to the hype but this movie was genuinely scary. I’m interested in seeing the alternate endings if they ever get released.

Infinity Ward started on PC and only ever made ports (I’m not even sure they did that, I’m pretty sure they made the PC version and some other chump company made the port).
Now for some fucked up reason, it seems they have made a console shooter and ported to PC.
Because it’s doing good on the console. Not everyone has a tricked out PC to run it. Many more people have a 360.
Besides, it’s the concept of going with the masses (“Most of my friends are getting it for 360, so I guess I should, too.”)
HL, on the other hand, isn’t really a multiplayer game, so no one gives a fuck how anyone else around them plays it.
If you knew anything about previous PC version of CoD, you’d know the game is impeccably optimised and you don’t need a beasty PC to run it.
CoD is also a massive LAN and Clan based game, with the introduction of matchmaking which is always fail for slowness and finding terrible players with even more terrible ping, will butt fuck that to the end of the rainbow.
Not only that, all custom content like hardcore mods alternative gameplay mechanics will not be able to exist.
Just another fucking idiot’s idea to ‘join the halo bandwagon’.
