I LOVED that community project. I was following it LONG before I had an account on the forums. 
Oh yeah, I loved that project too. I wanted to model a melon, which the player would pick up and throw towards Marines in order to annoy or even damage them (remember the “Strength of Throwing” thread?), but I never managed to understand Blender…
