iTunes slows supercomputers down. It’s coded into the software to use at least 50% of your system resources at all times.
Well, that explains a lot.
All I know is that I can’t buy a new iPod until I upgrade my computer, because the new iPods are only compatible with the newest version of iTunes, which isn’t compatible with Windows 2000. As far as I’m aware, my computer isn’t fast enough to run XP, and I have no desire to have Windows Vista or 7.
The IBM Roadrunner can’t even handle that shit.
Just like Quicktime by the way. It’s terrible.
Realplayer is even worse.
I used to use Real Player, back when it actually did what I wanted it to do 100 years ago. I use Winamp, or Pandora Radio now.

MediaPlayer. The mediaplayer on windows 7 is pretty good.
Yeah I always use Mediaplayer myself for music.
Which is good because pretty much the only extensions it can play are MP3 and AVI.
And only half of the time.
For movies I use VLC. It plays freaking everything! Even Mod music etc, it’s great.
But the interface is shit.
I like VLC for videos, and i use it for FLAC tracks sometimes.
I have itunes for music. I have an ipod, so it makes sense that I use it. I used some other media players, and I didn’t like them very much.
Videos I use media player, because the one in windows 7 is solid. Super minimalistic and it just works. I use VLC for all other videos because media player doesn’t support everything.
I also use iTunes because I have to if I want to access where all of my music is.
That, and since I have Windows 2000 on here, nothing is compatible with it anymore, only a really shitty version of WMP.
i only watch YouTube videos on my PC. I can’t sit through TV episodes or movies unless they are on a TV and I can sit and watch them from across the room. I get distracted by Solitaire otherwise
