So anyone else played NFS Shift yet?

Not yet, wanna pick up a copy asap. The motorsport/simracing forum I’m on, it’s fun to sit back and watch arguements about the game rage on :stuck_out_tongue:

Some people simply can’t get off their high horse about ‘simulation’ racers, and so are venting huge frustration at this supposedly ‘more realistic’ nfs game. Marketing apparently got into their heads.
.

The last NFS game I really enjoyed was Hot Pursuit 2. Since then there has been a significant lack of enjoyment in the games for me.

Underground 2 was the last NFS game I truly enjoyed, but I hope NFS shift doesn’t disappoint.

I never cared for the underground series. I’m not a gearhead, or a car mod freak. I am more into games that throw me into various exotic cars and race on interesting tracks in exciting situations.

Screw Failfactory, this is where it’s at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwxN8sCIOOE&feature=player_embedded#t=94

Well, I flicked to my brand new free to air digital sports channel today and managed to watch 30 sec of NASCAR.

Why the hell did none of the above happen?

Because NASCAR is boring as hell.

In the words of top gear:

NASCAR sucks.

Indeed. But pretty much all racing is boring unless people are dying and exploding in flames.
