And what difference does it make to you whether some random stranger whom you’ve never met and never will, first played HL2 in 2004 or 2012? Does that matter at all or having any real meaning?

Ugh - well, I don’t know how likely it is that we’ll encounter that individually or how many unruly children will be playing BM-DM, but I expect that there may be mechanisms to deal with that stuff - votebans, ignore user, etc - but I honestly couldn’t say that those features will be in BM-DM, AFAIK, there hasn’t been information regarding stuff like that, but maybe I missed that info or don’t remember it well.
But BM-DM is a bit too far off-topic for this thread, so let’s try to get back to topic, not that you don’t make a good point regarding kids in MP.
Dear lord no. Him and Pewdiepie (well, Penumbra pewdie was okay, then he just got big headed) are the 2 YT-ers that just drive me batshit insane. They’re like overgrown 13 year olds.
I honestly don’t know how low your comedy standards would have to be to watch either one and enjoy them.
Even though it did have witty banter throughout most of it, I unfortunately still found skybox to be uneventful and thus boring. =/ – Overall I do like the capt. though. He’s got a charming personality with a voice to go with it. He’s got that likeability factor.
I hate dumb humor, like even Will Ferrell movies piss me off that they exist… so those two… Holy Hell. It scares me that so many people like that crap.
I’m tellin yall, ChristopherOdd is where it’s at. One of my biggest pet peeves about YouTubers is that they split videos up into tiny little chunks to get more ad revenue. It kills the storyline of games and it also then takes them FOREVER to release a full playthrough of a game. Chris puts up like 25mins to an hour of content per game, per day. It’s usually segmented by the chapters or natural breaks in the game. He’s awesomeeee.
Let’s be besties, oh my lord I couldn’t agree so much. The only, ONLY videos I can watch are the Penumbra videos by pewdiepie, because I first subscribed when he was doing those. Anything after and I want to fly over to Sweden and incinerate his computer and headset to a fine powder. He’s just not funny, he screams like a girl.
Not to sound too condescending, but how stupid do you have to be entertained by “STTEEPPHANNO” or “BARRELLS FUCKING BARRELS”. Like, what?
Have you heard of MangaMinx? She’s not that humorous and she occasionally rages at things, but I really do love her videos and her personality. She’s currently doing Black Mesa. Most of her videos are 15-20 minutes. I do wish they were longer but yeah, they’re trying to maximise view/ad/money potential there.
In another note. How do you feel about “dumb” Let’s Players? For example, TheRadBrad. When he plays games, no doubt he’s usually good at them and in general he has that good commentary voice and personality, but the way he talks and does stuff sometimes makes me want to facepalm my fist through my face and back into my ass or something. He just misses obvious things, the storyline ALWAYS goes over his head (constantly “so what does this mean”, “why is this happening”).
He’s probably between mangaminx and pewdie pie. Meaning he’s good, but also has that high irritation factor.
I’m going to check out Chris now and I’ll report back. 
The only “Let’s play” I have watched is the one from Alchestbreach, the guy is hilarious, at least for my kind of humor, I watched some other videos from “Let’s play” and none was even close for me, Husky was decent but not enough to spend my time watching the whole series, here is one of my favorite parts, I recommend anyone who wants a funny Black Mesa “Let’s play” to give a watch to this video

You should watch more of TobyGames. He is a lot more witty than other YouTubers, but also a really good voice actor. I can’t stand PewDiePie for his accent, but I don’t think he is particularly annoying otherwise.
I only watch MasterOfAudioSurf and CaveManFilms and Dredillion.
For the rest are all the Machinima Network Realm Directors a buch of douchebags who gone to a different level after being partnered in my opinion.
I was subscribed for quite a while. I watched his entire LA Noire series until he abruptly cut it (and that’s a good 121 parts mind you), and watched his entire Portal 2 run through. I don’t just randomly hate people, and I’m sorry if that did come out looking like it. xD
But yes. I do have ‘experience’ in both Toby and Pewdie. I just grew tired of watching them and realised that they’re not that good at what they do, and they’re easy matches for a personality clash (with me, that is). They’re just irritating and annoying people.
