A Texas woman who seriously injured her son and then tried to repair the injury with superglue pleaded guilty and was sentenced Thursday to two years in prison.

Jennifer Vargas, 34, was arrested last fall by the FBI and charged with assault after she admitted to yanking her 6-year-old son’s genitals out of anger.

The sudden pull tore a 1.6-inch laceration in the boy’s scrotum. Vargas then cleaned the wound with alcohol before trying to seal the gaping hole with superglue, according to KENS.

“She applied superglue to the [boy’s] scrotum until the bleeding stopped, stuffed his underwear with paper towels, and then told him to go to bed,” a criminal complaint affidavit said. “Vargas did not seek any type of medical treatment for the child.”

The boy only received medical attention after his father – an enlisted man at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, where the family lived – came home to find his son crying. He underwent surgery at San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Vargas expressed remorse for her actions when she went before a judge last week.

“I would like to say that I regret my actions, that I do love my children with all my heart,” Vargas said, calling her kids the “most important thing to me," according to the San Antonio Express-News.

WOAI reports that after 11 years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce. Prosecutors told the station that the boy has recovered and is doing well.

“He’s recovered,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah Wannarka said. “He’s living with his father and doing very well in school.”

State legislators in both houses have passed a bill banning people from posing for photos while hugging, patting or otherwise touching tigers in New York state.

Manhattan Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal explained that she introduced the legislation to increase safety at traveling circuses and county fairs that allow the public to get up close and personal with their big cats.

But the Upper West Side Democrat acknowledges proudly that the bill would also destroy a trend now prevalent among users of dating apps — men snuggling with tigers in reckless attempts to look brave or cuddly or, even more implausibly, both in their dating-profile photos on online services like Tinder and OKCupid.

“They can still pose with bears and monkeys,” the assemblywoman said. “They just have to take big cats off their list.”

The wacky bill puts a crimp in what has become one of the most annoying Internet memes this year.

The bizarre craze has even inspired a Tumblr blog called “Tinder Guys with Tigers” that collects ridiculous photos of men clutching at the jungle beasties.

Rosenthal says the legislation was needed because there have been seven instances in 15 years in which a tiger escaped or hurt New Yorkers.

The justification fails to mention that there were only two big-cat maulings at traveling shows in the state in the past 10 years.

Illicit tiger touchers would face fines up to $500 — even if it’s only a cub.

“I feel bad now,” cracked Rosenthal staffer Lauren Schuster. “We’re killing bros’ dreams and chances of being laid!”

Dating-app users defended the use of tiger selfies as an online mating strategy.

“I’d like to think that the women of New York are intelligently discerning and can look beyond one hopefully funny photo,” said a Tinder user named David, 32, who declined to give his last name.

But animal-rights groups insisted online daters looking to improve their image should be made aware of the dangers of getting too close untamed animals.

“Hopefully, people will realize that it doesn’t say anything positive about yourself to pay to pose next to a wild animals in captivity,” said Kelly Donvan, a program officer for the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

Others say the bill, while well meaning, will be difficult to enforce if Gov. Cuomo signs it into law.

“Proving where it took place seems almost impossible to regulate, and some people might even do it as an act of defiance, like idiots who pose with drugs on public social networks,” said Brooklyn resident Alana Massey, a copywriter.

“I don’t think this is an especially thoughtful crowd that is buying into this industry.”

A man has been killed after his still beating heart was pulled out of his chest and bit into by his attacker after a furious row over a bowl of noodles.

Yul Liao was savagely attacked following an argument with Bo Tuan, 29, who wanted to share his noodles.

When the 48-year-old victim refused, they started shouting at each other before Bo pulled out a knife and drew it across the other man’s throat.

An eyewitness said: "It was bloody and horrifying and I can’t get the images out of my mind.

“He sliced the man open like he was a bag of rice, and pulled his heart out in front of us all, I swear it was still beating. Several people fainted, I wish I could have fainted. I can’t stop seeing it even when I close my eyes.”

She said that the man had carried the heart in his hands occasionally biting and made no attempt to run away as he wandered around the small pavement area near where the man’s dead body lay on the ground.

When police arrived on the scene in Suizhou, in China’s Hubei province, Bo did not resist arrest.

Locals said they wanted more police protection in the area to prevent similar violent incidents.

They said that officers had taken 40 minutes to turn up and the man could have attacked anybody else walking past in that time.

The next time your child refuses to make his or her bed, don’t despair. You may have an artist on your hands.

A 16-year-old unmade bed, turned into an art installation, sold for $4,351,969 dollars at a Christie’s art auction in London on Tuesday, according to Christie’s.

Artist Tracey Emin calls it “My Bed,” because it was the bed where she spend four days in 1998 “heartbroken and feeling terrible” she tells CNN.

Once Emin got out of the bed she recalls looking at the mess left behind and decided to make it art.

“Suddenly I had this vision of taking it out of the bedroom space and putting it into a white gallery space,” she said. “It suddenly made sense,” she said. “Wow this is fantastic artwork.”

A year later, in 1999, “My Bed” was shortlisted for the Turner Prize.

It’s not just the messy linens and blankets that bring the art installation to life. The objects surrounding it tell the story of a broken heart.

There’s the ashtray overflowing with cigarettes, empty liquor bottles, dirty panties, bits of food, contraceptives and what appears to be a 16-year-old condom.

“It’s like a piece of history, a time capsule,” Emin said.

Art lovers agreed, and her unconventional sculpture sold for more than $1.7 million over the expected auction price, which was set between $1.3 million to $2 million.

Christie’s won’t comment on who bought “My Bed.”

I don’t have a problem with putting stuff like this up for display and calling it art, I get it. The money involved in the art world is outrageous though.
