The thread relating to, but not questioning, Velocoraptors.

Ramirezoid’s love affair revealed?

she deleted a bunch of my posts just becuase they were openly mocking of 9/11 victims. pretty unreasonable imo

is nothing sacred

He said as he double posted. apparently not.

So, velociraptors: slightly bigger than a small child, covered in a beautiful rainbow of luxuirent feathers, and capable of tearing through your face in .8 seconds.

Velociraptors are cool because they’re little, fast and smart dinosaurs. When they gather in packs, they are able to hunt down any other creatures of bigger size. Sometimes I wish I was pack of velociraptors hunting down criminals and terrorists.

Evidence does not support your claim.

A KID CAN DREAM!

Pics or it didn’t happen.

I’m pretty sure that’s how it went down guys. Check out that fossil of a raptor kicking a protoceratops’s ass.

Give me a time machine and I’LL PROVE IT ALL TO YOU! I SWEAR!

implying Protoceratops is a large dinosaur :retard:

edit:

Also, it looks more like the Protoceratops is kicking Velociraptors ass.

The protoceratops is biting his forearm, but the raptors got his sickleclaw in its jugular. I’m pretty sure the raptor wouldvewon and survived if they didn’t both get crushed by a fucking sand dune.

Also: raptors are pack animals. Think of wolves. They probably didn’t take on full grown triceratops but things bigger than protoceratopses probably got what was coming to em

I’m glad they died like that, because it gives us an extremely rare fossil and direct evidence of dinosaur behaviour.

Now now, there’s no evidence that they hunted in packs. For all we know, they had an annual international raptor jamboree, but were solitary the rest of the year.

what if a sand dune engulfs you while you’re fapping

you monster, they were living beings (at jeannot)

I’m simply saying that if they died anyway we might as well be glad they died the way they did so that we could study predation of at least one dinosaur species.

That could be true as well. In my nonprofessional opinion though, they seem to fit the niche of the pack hunter pretty well. But you could also be right and they could’ve been more akin to foxes. Given the number of other solitary predators, including other raptor breeds of the time (including troodinids, oviraptors, and larger breeds related to dinonychus) coupled with their intelligence, appears to fit with the pack theory.

Though, to my knowledge there is no indeed physical evidence they were.this is just me speculating. I’m fucking retarded for dinosaurs.

Bird of prey can work together to coordinate attacks. Seems logical that at least some raptor species did the same. After all, they are the ancestors to all modern birds.

Larger carnivores like T. rex were probably living solitary lifestyles. They required much more food and thus had to protect a larger area that was not capable of supporting multiple multi-ton carnivorous dinosaurs. This is especially true if T. rex got most of its food by scavenging.

so there was this parody(of almost everything, named mafia… something) and there was this kid taking a walk in the forest. for some reason, a bunch of small raptors appeared. the kid ran and fell. you saw the raptors jumping after and only heard something like: “Nooo, my liver!”
were that velociraptors?
