I screwed up the height of this house by FIVE FEET a year ago when I drew the initial elevations. Now it is coming back to bite me in the ass.
When you’re building or repairing something make sure to do it right the first time. 'Specially with the measurements and making sure it’s square, else you’ll have FAR more serious problems later on.
It may be a pain in the ass, but it’s worth it to avoid problems later that could cause you to expend far more money on them. You may also want to be aware of the ground composition where your house is positioned, it might’ve sunk in some cases (yes companies do cut corners to do shit like that).
I had to dig out a hole about 3’ deep through a shit load of gravel just below maybe 2-3" of dirt and said hole was full of not just gravel but construction debris.
I was helping my grandfather dig up their septic tank this morning. It would have been easy enough, had he not forgotten the location and area I should dig…we were off by literally 3 inches FUUUUUUUUUUU spent 3 hours digging a 6’ deep hole to find out what we needed was 3’ higher and 3’ to the right T_T

I really wish they didn’t. It’s because the prosecution is milking the race card for all it’s worth in an otherwise bog-standard self defense case. The forensics evidence is clear- Martin was on top of Zimmerman, beating the shit out of him and trying to slam his head into the concrete walk. Zimmerman employed the use of his sidearm, and now the national “news” media is trying to crucify him.
It’s a huge threat to the Second Amendment as well, because putting away Zimmerman establishes legal precedent that you don’t have the right to defend yourself from lethal harm unless your skin color matches. It’s fucking stupid. Race, gender, color or orientation should not matter if someone is assaulting you with intent to seriously harm or kill. Zimmerman shot the fucker, and there is no disputing that his life was indeed in danger. The media then proceeded to drag him through the mud, and the prosecution, the judge, and the jury are all rigged as fuck. It’s a kangaroo court meshed with a media circus, and it’s a total goddamn disgrace.
My dad had fox news on and there were several anchors discussing the trial while showing footage and this one girl kept talking about the jury and how “beauty” of our justice system is that they have to follow the letter of the law and will make a completely unbiased decision.

You’d think Fox News would be rushing to Zimmerman’s defense, you know, being ostensibly a conservative run news network. But even O’Reilly has been calling for a conviction ruling.
Not to mention, Obama jumped on this with his whole “That coulda been my son” thing, and it fucking EXPLODED. Thanks to that, this could well become a race war.

Outside of the obvious, why in the holy fuck is it of national importance? It’s the Casey fucking Anthony media circus all over again. No one would give a flying fuck in any other circumstance.
I’m not saying the Justice system is not rigged. Hell I have a few friends who are victims of that system. But really, his case doesn’t need to be fucking televised. An article is just fine. It’s not relevant to what’s going on inside of the country. The second amendment is a totally different subject all together.
Things like Snowden’s NSA leak I can understand being televised, it’s of national relevance, being that the American people are being spied upon. Be you think he’s a traitor or a freedom fighter, it affects everyone. This case doesn’t in any way, shape, or form. Outside of showing what is wrong with our country’s justice system, its ONLY use is FOR or AGAINST the second amendment. Period. It don’t need to be up there.
I suppose I should mention it’s stupid shit like this that just pisses me off. On a further note, yes I agree with you, it’s a god damned disgrace. Hence why I think it shouldn’t be on the air. There are things far more important that should get the fripping air time like the NSA leaks or some new development in congress, etc THAT is important.
Battle.net has a “connection pattern” detection system in place that’s supposed to protect you, but all it actually does is instantly lock your account and force you to change your password if you log in from a different city or anything.
