I wonder if it’s up to fire codes in terms of emergency exits, lol
Exits are not the same as entrances, and I’m sure they certainly are.
Just enough to skit by most likely. You’d be surprised how often they skimp to save a few bucks.
I had to play in the band at the BHS graduation. It hurt my lips having to loop Pomp and Circumstance that many times.
(The teacher calls it poop and sticky pants. Truly this is a high-class school.)
I was talking about Bur’s, but now that I think about it, all of them.
My desktop constantly loses its internet connection for no perceivable reason. My other devices in the house are fine, so I really don’t want to reset my router if I can avoid it. We got a new bloody router, this connection should be MORE reliable, not less! FML.
And even better- my laptop’s disc drive has ceased function again, once more, for no reason. What is this shit.
^Weird; just a few days ago my iPad couldn’t sustain a wifi connection for more than 30 seconds at a time, but everything else could. It’s fine now, but that was hella fucking irritating.
If you’re on a wireless connection, your wireless antenna may be going kaput. If wired, check your Ethernet (network card included). If that fails, then it’s your router.
yeah sounds like it’s your wireless adapter
I lose connection sometimes because the crappy usb wifi stick I’m using tends to heat up a lot. Taking it out for a while usually helps.
Haha that made me think of an ipad with the ethernet cord… It would be like an airplane or car that you can’t unplug or it will crash.
I know those adapters exist, I’m just saying nobody uses them.
My friend’s Ethernet adapter suddenly stopped working and the only thing that made it work again was going in the device manager, ethernet adapter properties and disable “powersave during gigabit link loss” or something. The funny thing is that his modem and router were both limited to 10/100, not to mention the 200ft Cat5 cable, just that option was never there before to fuck it all up. Windows Update strikes again!
It might have been because the thing overheated- I’d had my computer on for about 36 hours or so when this happened, and it’s a Maingear Shift, so the computer sinks heat upward past the card.
In Planetside 2, SOE just improved handling to all the tanks; the TR and NC tanks can now go as fast backwards as forwards, and have turret stabilization. This is a pretty great idea, all things considered, but it gives them a very slight edge over the Magrider, which previously wasn’t hindered by speed or the lack of turret stabilization. So, perhaps, a very small buff might be in order.
They’re NERFING it.
Good, I hate the Vanu, even though I haven’t played more than a couple hours since the original Planetside in 2006? 2007?
Finally, after bricking the card twice and having to fix it by soldering BIOS pins on the GPU while the PC was on, I gave up on trying to get eyefinity to work with this god damn minidisplayport edition, and just exchanged my 7870 for my old 6850, now I can play DX10/11 games in eyefinity. And looking back, that 7870 was the most useless upgrade my PC has ever seen.
REALLY fucking anxious for a friend of mine. She’s going through a tough spot atm and it didn’t hit home till now. I hope she pulls through, I’ve lost too many people in my life lately, I don’t want to lose another.
One of the best things you can do for someone that is going through tough times is to let them know that you care and that you are there for them. Then be sure to spend some time with them. You know, distract them from whatever it is that is bringing them down.
The RAM I bought is still out of stock. I’m really hoping it gets in stock soon, or I might end up waiting on it and have to delay my entire build.
I’m usually very lucky with RAM. Earlier this year, I found 2 sticks of water damaged RAM and scraped it with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol to make it work. I’m currently using said ram to type this post.
lol, you’re a wizard
my own pc has been broken since september, I haven’t even bothered trying to figure out what’s wrong except removing RAM
And it’s suddenly in stock. Your luck must be rubbing off on me.
