okay.
Just fall into a rhythm you’re comfortable with. You’re 14, you have yet to fully develop your mentality into something you’ll feel comfortable with. I’m a completely different person compared to how I was when I was 14. I used to be a quiet person (still am around strangers, usually) and a lot angrier than I am now. Point is, you can change. Most of us used to be as awkward as you are, some of us still are, there’s no shame in it.

like Jessie Pinkman in Breaking Bad, he built boxes out of wood and shit…
Isn’t Breaking Bad a show about cooking meth? I don’t watch much tv.

So it was nice to find out that my bus had a wasp’s nest on it, only problem was that someone else found it out, while everyone was going to the stop. So we had a bunch of wasps flying around the bus. Luckily, neither me or my sister got stung, so…yeah.
THIS IS SUCH FUCKING BULLSHIT. All I have to do to finish this mission is dock with the Osiris, but I can’t, because as soon as I hit dock the ship slows down and starts screwing around trying to line up just right, and then every fucking fighter in the area just pummels me to pieces. I’m out of countermeasures, shield batteries, and only have enough nanite paste to repair like a quarter of my hull.
Edit: Holy shit I just made it in with like 2% hull left.
More a minor frustration than anything else, but how come as soon as I go to buy a game it goes out of production? Halo 2 went out of production literally a week before I went to buy it, and apparently Call of Duty 4 just stopped being produced too; and people wonder why there’s so much piracy?
Do you own a computer? With Internet access, you can buy copies of every game that’s come out since 1981, from used to mint condition.
For an added bonus, digitally-distributed copies don’t go out of stock.
I own 2 copies of Halo 2, one xbox, one windows.
Each acquired years after its initial release.
Total cost no more than 30 dollars.
You can easily find an unopened pc copy of cod4 on amazon for that price. Hell, I know for a fact my local Target still has it.
^My distrust for buying things online is probably something that I need to overcome tbh
The next mission has the difficulty rated as “suicide mission” and was still far easier than the last fucking one.
^ That game would be…?
As for my rage: I’m having a sense of dread ever since my mother told me that my sister is considering letting my estranged aunt move in with her in Front Royal, VA. Considering the estranged aunt acts like a self-entitled bitch 90% of the time, I’m holding contempt. I don’t have a problem with her per-se, but considering how she’s treated my family in the past, I’m reserving my judgement. To be frank I almost don’t like it at all. She’s got a kid, and I’d be more than happy to see him in a home with say my sister or someone I trust, but the aunt’s attitude hasn’t changed at all in past years and she’s screwed us over several times emotionally (no where near as bad as my grandfather on my dad’s side, but that’s an entirely different beast). All things considered, I wouldn’t be surprised if she eventually gets herself thrown out of that house at some point if it does happen.
You’d think the guys who made Freespace 2 Open would have, in the process of making sweeping upgrades to the visuals and code, would have fixed the entire HUD being stretched on widescreen resolutions. But apparently not…
Hmm.
The HUD seems to scale nicely in FSPort but not in Freespace 2, strange.
I’m running FS2 Open 3.6.18, maybe this has been improved in 3.7.0?
I actually managed to fix it by downloading the latest nightly build of FSO, and it works perfectly now. Awesome game, too.
