If you want to play free games, play mods that you can download on ModDB, play console games on your PC using an emulator to play ROMs, and play free Internet games like Portal: Flash. If you own all the HL series and I’m sure you do, there’s plenty of free HL1 mods and HL2 mods out there already for you to download. There’s plenty of console classics you can play on your PC using an emulator.

Did you know that emulators are illegal as well? Unless you extract the bios rom from your own console and do the backup of the games yourself.
Coolrom.com, as an example, cooperates with the ESRB and cancels a game if the ESRB denies it from being on the open market. For instance, certain Nintendo 64 games were taken off of their website because the ESRB did not want them there. Coolrom obeyed and took them off the site. The ESRB is apparently fine with most of the games on their site or they would have shut them down by now. They have a relationship of cooperation and obedience.

You agree to their terms when you download a file, and the ESRB says it’s okay.
Downloading a game without having it on disc is just as legal as playing a rom of a game you don’t physically own.

@ Zim, DL Fear 2 Project origin. It’s 6 gigs but and there is an error in the first iso, but you can fix that by extracting the files from the iso and the game is well worth the dl. I’ll pm you the link because I don’t know if I am allowed to post links to pirated files.
Yeah fear 2 is awesome, good graphics and immersive environments, can be scary sometimes, but not as much as fear1 IMO.
Also if you havent already, try Prototype, you’ll waste countless hours running around the city throwing cars at people.

I finished it, apparently AVG still works even when there’s 2mb free space on the hard drive, I just deleted the virus vault by uninstalling AVG after it finished scanning and got my 2gb free space back. The server should be back up, not that anyone cares about my 11gb of images saved from 4chan.
