super lurker, have you tried defraggler? It is supposed to work faster and better than the standard defrag.
I defragged an old mac the other day.
It really improved speed and performance.

Today Sucked… I had two separate hours of Bringing in carts, In Both of which I was very Nearly Run over by Customers (the first being an impatient octogenarian couple racing for the Handicap Parking Space, the second being some stupid jackass who didn’t bother to check mirrors BEFORE applying pressure to the gas pedal). On the Second hour of Lot, I basically had to clean up after the asshole before me (some punk kid with his head up his ass and a Cellphone glued to his hands) because the little shit left a ton of carts In the cart corrals (steel structures where you can leave your shopping carts after loading groceries into your car).
Lets not Forget It was Fucking Hot out AND to top it all off, My newly discovered Floral allergies were turning my nose into a floodplain.
GOD FUCKING DAMMIT. MY EPISODE 2 HAMMER IS BROKEN, MY HL2 HAMMER HAS EP2 MONSTERS THAT DON’T WORK, AND I’M FUCKING PISSED.

This piece of shit Samsung phone that originally cost me €450 2 years ago broke down… Again… With the same issues it had the 2 times it broke before. Raaargh
