Set default animation to idle_open I believe, should function nicely.

Also ai_goal_assaults are just obnoxious, no way to get around it. Mess with the geometry a bit to make sure thats not in the way, I’ve had NPCs get stuck on door twice as wide as they needed to be.

The funny part is that I did set the animation to idle_open after the opening animation plays. It still shuts. Nothing in my I/O suggests a conflicting output to the door.

You should try putting info_node_hint and in the ‘hint’ drop down list select: Entrance / Exit Pinch

place the hint on the ground in the centre of a door or a gap.

I did have an entrance/exit pinch node in the door area, and the leader with the shotgun consistently goes in. I think it might be because I initially forgot to squad the NPCs together. I’ll recompile and see how it goes this time.
