I dislike women with tight curls in their hair. When I have been taught by them, I have done disproportionately worse in all of their classes. This started in the 2nd-grade, recurred for grades 7 and 8, and bit me in the ass for grades 9 and 10.
If you’re a caucasian woman, then your teaching ability is most likely directly proportional to the usual diameter of the curls in your hair. Between 2 and 3 inches is proficient. Between 1 and 2 inches is lacking. If you find your hair frequently making loops less than 1 inch across, you should consider not going into teaching.
I have not had enough curly-haired male professors in order to notice a trend there.
