Themroc
a wordless depiction of urban retrogression to paleolithic revolt. i particularly enjoy the moaning old lady who returns for five seconds every fifth minute or so to moan in agony.

Seen Fight Club.
Epic.
I watched Up at a friend’s place recently; it was the first time I’d seen a legitimate English version, and on BluRay, too. That movie turns me into a blubbering mess.
Something tells me that was this year’s April Fools joke.
Reanie Beanie looks cool though.
Not to take this thread even more off-track, but I absolutely detest Comic Sans for the simple fact that it had been overused to death in the early 2000’s. Now that it has lost its context, there is no more need to use it anymore. Notice that Microsoft doesn’t use Times New Romans as their default font in Office.
Back on topic; I haven’t really been watching any movies lately, though a friend just bought Charlie Wilson’s War. Is that supposed to be any good?
Just rewatched the LotR movies. Still great.
Why yes, I have way too much time right now.
Only about twelve hours
It’s about a guy who gets America to give weapons to the Taliban for the sole purpose of downing samples of the most beautiful attack/transport dual-purpose helicopter to have ever existed… :’(
I saw the trailer on YouTube. Doesn’t look too bad.
Saw Cars 2 this evening. Now that was a good movie. Always love watching those Pixar movies.
Transformers 3. It was…acceptable. Much better than the second one, but nowhere near as good as the first. Michael Bay should have just stopped with the first one, really. Because, in the end, it was just about the giant robot fights. One was enough, the sequels are just more of the same story (a bad robot needs a magical widget to win a war and is going to destroy humans in the process, so the good guys must stop him at all costs) and more of the same exploding robots. Oh, except they have blood this time, for some reason. Or transmission fluid. Whatever. Seemed odd.
Had a long car ride today and watched both Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Fish Story again. Both are amazing movies and I highly recommend them both. Good luck finding Fish Story though, I don’t even know where I found it .
Edit: Oh hey there’s a torrent now. Well I heavily recommend that everyone download and watch it.
ok but i have a bigass pile of movies downloaded i aint watched yet atm
i rewatched fitzcarraldo the other day which is pretty amazing. klaus kinski, the star acted so mental during filming that the indians playing the indians offered to kill him. tru story.
Finally got around to watching Blade Runner. Pretty tedious and dull, but nice setting.
i love dick but bladerunner never grabbed me idk why
I didn’t have anything to do on Friday afternoon so I watched Push again, on YouTube htis time. I think I like that movie more than I should, as I never hear anyone talking about it ever. The only person on any of my forums that ever made reference to it was Winged One with his bleeder avatar icon.
fitzcarraldo as in boat above a mountain fitzcarraldo?
yah
herzog was like “no thanks i still need him for filming” cool dude
Heck of a way to come out of the close- NO, BAD KENNY.
Yes, Phillip K. Dick is a great author. I liked Minority Report and A Scanner Darkly. Personally, I liked Blade Runner too. Which cut did you watch?
think iv’e seen a couple but not exact sure. i love good scifi, weird slow movies, and noir so i should love it but idk. Total recall is the best adaptation of his i reckon
