Just finished watching Daft Punk’s Electroma and I loved it of course it has no dialogue and is moved along plot wise by music which cuts in and out which surprisingly isn’t Daft Punk’s music of course anything Daft Punk has done wouldn’t have fit over this movie as well.
Yay someone else watched it! I loved it too.
yeah I was expecting something different but I’m glad it wasn’t what I expected
Well the concept is a bit strange. A silent movie involving two robots trying to become human with extremely long shots. You don’t see this every week at the movies.
definitely a film for people who like arthouse movies the music was my favourite part it always fit so well.
Yup. I do. As I do enjoy artistic games.
Edit: I just saw Dante 01. A french Sci-fi movie involving a couple of prisoners in a mental “rehabilitation” space station. The only thing I can say is…
That. Was. Fucked. Up.
Edit: wait wut double post?
Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain.
It’s still a great film, 10/10
You should watch the original. [Rec], Spanish movie, way better than the lousy american remake Quarantine. Although having watched the lousy version may have ruined it for you .
Friday 13 (The new one) 9/10
 seriously
But I can never really get into horror movies so its probably just me.
Wow, fucking get out. I’m not a big fan of Harry Potter in general, but if you honestly think that the actually-pretty-good HBP is worse than that godawful car-wreck that was Goblet of Fire, then our professional relationship is over.
Didn’t see the 6, but TBH the 3 was awful. The book was already not very long, but they still managed to cut half of the stuff.
haha, i agree. 10/10. its so dark and twisted, that its delicious
For real?
I can’t imagine anyone liking that piece of garbage.
It’s cliche after cliche. It’s completely not scary. And it’s just completely lame.
That was a waste, a waste of time and money. I only went to see it because the girl I was going with wanted to. I wanted to see the Curious Case with her. If it werent for the fact that she became my girlfriend after that I’d call it a complete waste of money.
Hot Fuzz. I liked it, but I liked Shaun of the Dead a lot more.
7/10
I just finished watching ‘A Scanner Darkly’.
9001/10
Man, that’s a fantastic movie. Robert Downey Junior and Woody Harrelson should be in every movie.
^ this.
Hey, I mentioned that one yesterday on the chat! Only movie I feel compelled to watch amongst the piles of trash that everything else is.* And I still haven’t gotten around to it. Bollocks.
*I don’t think highly of a lot of things.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why everyone seems to think Shaun of the Dead is funnier than Hot Fuzz… in my mind, the latter is clearly superior.
