Most probably he posts from a mental hospital.
I think he lives a normal yet insanely boring life, prompting him to unleash his inner thoughts online.
Gremlins. “Phone…ça-ça!”
My personal fav scene was when they were all in the bar, and the girl was serving them beer and shit, and then one of them opens his raincoat to show his…nothing.
Now I’m imagining Hercule Poirot sitting at a computer with his nutsack typing. Damn you :fffuuu: !
Recommend me a film. Something Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas-like, maybe.
Gremlins?
That’s not exactly FaLiLV-like. However, I shall take it into consideration. More suggestions welcome.
I dunno what it was called but there was this one Australian film with Heath Ledger in it, and this old guy was in a cave by the sea, and apparently he was dead because he kept sticking his fingers in these holes in his side, and then there were these two kids walking and one of them got ran over by a car, and the other one was like whatever.
Granted I did come in on it partway through but I get the feeling it wouldn’t have made any more sense if I started from the beginning
sounds awesome
Bad lieutenant: port of call new orleans
is it like a detective-ish type film? those aren’t really up my alley
not sure what to make of crime drama (wikipedia)
not after the first 20 or so mins and its amazing.
Perhaps I shall check it out some time soon. Thank you for the suggestions.
I am disappoint at the amount of suggestions here though. Maybe I’m being impatient.
I might recommend you more but I’ve never seen fear and loathing so I don’t really know what it’s like
You should, it’s great. I have no idea what that last movie you mentioned was though :fffuuu:
Just came back from watching Toy Story 3… During most of the film I thought it was ok, but the ending was… perfect. First time in a long time that a film has moved me so close to tears.
FaL is a pretty unique movie and I’m having trouble coming up with anything similar to it. I’m thinking something stream-of-consciousness like. Donnie Darko maybe? Shutter Island had the same sort of bizarreness to it. Inglorious Basterds pops into my mind as well for some reason too.
The second half of Moon and Howl’s Moving Castle.
Moon was interesting, from what I saw of it. I need to catch it from the beginning though.
Howl’s Moving Castle was just something to fall asleep to while waiting for my parents to get up so that I can start my computer without them blowing a fuse when they use their hair drier.
sounds good, thanks
Moon is really great! (from my point of view)
