It doesn’t matter, he spoiled the shitty ending.
The alternative ending is fucking streets ahead. Definitive version.

Isn’t it the one where the zombie “leader” agrees to let it him go or something?
Midnight in Paris.
fucking fantastic, couldn’t have been better.
It’s a little more complicated than that.
What happens is Will Smith’s character looks over at the wall with all of the photos of his deceased experiments, then back to the creature he has on the table and realises that he has become the Legend to the creatures. He has been murdering hundreds and hundreds of them without even thinking of them as real beings. He gives back the female one he took and the creatures leave. Then they all scarpa.
So much fucking better than the bullshit Hollywood cliche ending.
I read the book, personally, I like the book a tad bit better than the movie, but that’s the same with everything. I also like the alt ending compared to the piece of shit ending in the original.
Last movie I saw was Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
I got a full dose of hotness (Harrison Ford)
45 seconds into Battle:LA and I’m already over this fucking shaky cam. Jeez, the second and third Bourne films have nothing on this!
went and saw X-men: First Class yesterday. not a bad movie. definitely made X-men Origins: Woverine about as useless in terms of cannonicity as the Spin-off Half-life games from gearbox. Loved Wolverine’s Cameo “I’m Charles Xavier” “I’m Erik Lensherr” “Go fuck yourselves”.
Kinda makes the Deadpool movie impossible, but hey, a guy can dream, right
I don’t normally mind shakycam but the beginning of that movie was too shaky even for me. It gets better later in the movie though, don’t know what was up with it during the beginning. Cameraman must have been drunk .
Yeah, but now I have a different problem: I’m an hour through and this is only HALF WAY OVER? I don’t even have any characters to care about and the story is so uninteresting because of the fact that it’s ripped from every single sci-fi/action work ever created by man.
This movie blows.
Eh, I enjoyed it. It was just plain fun, at least for me.
I’m the kind of person who can enjoy mindless action films, but watching this feels like a chore to me.
The only part I enjoyed from that movie was the final battle. That part was actually a pretty decent action sequence. The rest was just shaky cam and “ooh-rah Marines rule, go 'Merica.” Also, really overused alien design. Why does it seem like so many aliens nowadays are kinda slimy humanoids and speak in a clicking, chattering language? Also also, the whole “weak point” thing seemed really dumb. “Ok guys, you gotta shoot them in the chest! Just to the left a little bit!” And suddenly the Marines can fight the aliens 10x better. Where were they shooting them before, in the foot? I dunno, even if such a huge weakness were plausible - remember, a bunch of Marines unloaded a ton of ammo on the one in the pool, and still didn’t kill it, apparently because they weren’t aiming for the weak point, and not one bullet hit it in the magical death spot - it still isn’t very interesting to find out. It doesn’t change the movie any really, and seems like a really cheap, cop-out way for the Marines to just suddenly get better so they can win.
That is precisely one of the points I found so ridiculous.
The movie was full of laughably bad moments and the plot was beyond predictable. Not to mention the fact that it’s about 45 minutes too long. Near the end, I kept thinking, “Oh, this would be a neat place to end it. OH WAIT, HERE COMES 12 MORE BATTLE SCENES.” I figured they would at least give us some kind of closure, but it just ends with them dragging their feet into another battle. Just like the rest of the movie.
Heh… I Just watched Battle: Los Angeles and thought it was fucking awesome… Although I expected a more silly alien flick and it turned out very realistic and serious more like a war documentary… with aliens.
I know… too bad wars don’t usually end in one movie length, eh?
now I almost want to see it just to see how bad it is
See the 1999 movie Beowulf instead. It’s awesome and awesomely tacky at the same time.
(Sorry about the Hungarian cover, I thought it summarized the movie better than English versions.)
Good to know you like Asian movie.
Mar need moms, I like it very much and the character look so realistic even my dad mistake them as real people lol.
Martial Arts movies are awesome. I love the movies with Jackie Chan.
Seen today: Gran Torino. Unbelievable good movie. I don’t watch Clint Eastwood movies that much, but this one was fantastic.
Amazing how many insults these guys use in the movie. There were many I’ve never heard before.:awesome:
I was shooting them in the head in the game. Figured it was the best place to shoot them. The game sucks, btw. It reaks so bad of low production values. The cutscenes are still frames that use Comic Sans in the subtitles.
Why do people still use that stupid font?
How dare you! >=I
