South American :hmph:
bah, same hemisphere
Africa doesn’t have jugnles does it?
It has giraffes.
But South America doesn’t. It has, however, Mexicans I believe. Practicly the same thing, though.
Too bad that Mexico is in North America, and their culture is nothing like Argentina’s.
Okay I was wrong.
Mexico is central america actually.
No. Lern2geography.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_America#Usage:
While your knowledge of English is very thorough, no Argentinean can know all the ins-and-outs of our language. You are excused for being a stickler.
And what does what people in english speaking countries consider to be central america have to do with anything? Maxey is from Portugal.
And BTW, what does ‘stickler’ mean? I used google translator but I also didn’t know what the word in spanish meant. :S
Rigorista? I don’t know how, but I understand that word just fine
A stickler is someone who’s too strict, often complaining when someone misses a detail or breaks a rule. Also, I realized how I know rigorista: a rigorist, someone who is rigorous/thorough/strict in what they do.
I think that the amount of kilometres separating South America from Mexico is not ‘a detail’.
On the internet it is.
:meh:
I second that :meh:
That’s the oldest movie you’ve ever seen :S ? I have no need to watch that movie, I’ve seen the 1930s one .
Let’s compete for oldest film;
I’ve seen Buster Keaton’s Hard Luck (1921). Timeless comedy, more innovative than most of today’s humour. Would highly recommend.
Youth In Revolt : Interesting to say the least. It’s style and personality is rare in movies and I would enjoy more of them.
The oldest movie I’ve watched all the way through was Nosferatu (1922). I did watch about half of Birth of a Nation (1915), though.
You should watch Metropolis (1927) if you haven’t already, it’s a masterpiece. Try to find the extended edition, though.
Edit: Now that I think about it I’ve seen the Roundhay Garden Scene (1888) .
