The Last Film You Saw.

Furnace: Most intense plot device in a kid’s movie, ever.

what was so sad about toy story 3 anyway

Boondock Saints 1&2, Resident Evil: Degeneration for the 2nd time, and Dragon Ball Z: Wrath Of the Dragon. Boondock Saints was one of the most bad-ass movies I’ve seen in a while.

the pilots of Darabont’s The Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire.

both very promising.

I can’t tell if you are serious or not, but if you are, the sadness has mostly to do with:

[COLOR=‘Black’]Andy giving away his toys to the little girl at the end. It is a representation of the end of his childhood. Andy, and thus, the audience, is reminded that his childhood was a precious time in his life that is gone and will never return. It means the end of a carefree and innocent time, replaced by responsibility, hard work, and a true understanding of how the world is.

If you are at least 17 you ought to get it somewhat, though people in their early to mid-twenties probably feel the pain of this the most. People older than that may not feel it so much anymore. And of course, it helps if you have a soul. :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought the sadness was [COLOR=‘Black’]that Bo-Peep left Woody a widower, and he couldn’t heal his soul by pursuing the connection he had with Jessie.

See I watched it with my parents. They mainly cried when they saw Andy moving out. They look at that and see me moving out of their house soon. They know I will be leaving and that I wont be coming back as the child they once saw me as.

Ugh, fuckin’ empty-nest syndrome… sure, be sad a bit when you’re alone, but suck it up when you have the god-damn company whose loss you’re mourning…

Great, great movie. One of my all time favourites.

They actually used a set of Dark City in the Matrix. (Rooftop chase scene at the start)

Yeah man, Maxey introduced me to a gem :3

They filmed the beginning of The Matrix borrowing the set from Dark City to show to the producers to get the money to fund the rest of the production.

And yes, Dark City is a fascinating movie. I can’t stand Keefer’s accent and speech impediment, but that’s the only part of the movie I don’t like.

That part was sad, but this part

I found more sad.

Pineapple Express

I’m surprised to say it was actually really good

I’m surprised that the three of them could still walk at the end.

especially the third guy (what’s his name again) :awesome:

Dark City is an awesome, underrated movie, it’s a shame more people haven’t heard about it. If you liked the Matrix or any movie about illusion of reality then rent or download Dark City.

Dark City was the first DVD i ever bought before I even had a player for it (in anticipation of someday attaining a player for it).

Watched Jumanji yesterday, it was a very unique movie. a biased 4/5

I don’t know if it counts, but whatever.

Doctor Who Series 1 (2005)

Yesterday and today I watched the whole thing. I’m not too sure if this Harry Potter guy is going to make a good Doctor in series 2, but I guess I’ll see. Hell, maybe his work as The Doctor landed him the HP job? I dunno. The Doctor was great in series 1, though.

Predator. Pretty damn epic. lol’d my ass off when they mowed the forest down.

Oh, and GET TO THE CHOPPER!11one!one1
