The good news: I just got a free upgrade From 6 to 8 gigs of RAM on my laptop.
The bad news: I just found out that the maximum I can install in this laptop is 8GB.

Edit: Also, Sersoft, do you really need more than 8 gigs? Do you need a lot of memory for video rendering or something?

I use VirtualBox a lot when more than 1 person needs to use the computer, it runs 200x better than on my desktop. I just moved my SSD from my desktop to my laptop, so yeah, my desktop is now officially abandoned.

I have money again! I got paid up through December, and could technically pay off my car loan right here and now, but I am going to wait and see if I get back to work when I am supposed to before jumping in like that.

My old BMS client still had some of the old changes I made. It made me having to work on it so much less of a bore.
Already have a defining diagram and the like for my current project on the mobile apps. Things seem to be going smoothly for once.
I was typing a post in the Rage Topic about how my “free” iPad Air that I was supposed to get back in November (came as a bonus for having a subscription to a newspaper) had not yet arrived.
But whilst I was typing said post, the doorbell rang. It was UPS… With the iPad Air. Yay.

I found an archos 4.3" ablet! (I call it ablet because it’s basically a phablet without the phone part) and it supports USB host! finally I have a handheld that I can plug various keyboards and mice to and play doom/quake/duke3d/halflife.
I might get me one of those…
