The Cafeteria (Hazard Course)

could be maintenance crew.

They should be off driving forklifts to transport nothing anywhere, or fixing that emergency shutdown button, or preparing for the inevitable invasion of the frog people. They have no time for food or conversing with other humans.

Sounds like you’re slipping out of the Hazard Course, there. Regardless, these are definitely some hilarious scenes. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with.

Haha very nice

I wouldn’t say the first Marine scene is that far out of the bounds of realism, we see a military helicopter at the start of the game. Couldn’t we assume that Black Mesa has some form of an active garrison? I doubt they would send an Apache for a retinue check up. A couple of edits and I’d say the first could work.

However they’re never seen wandering about pre-cascade.
My point is that they don’t sound like they’re Black Mesa Staff. Smashing a candy machine because they’re hungry, implying interrogation and murder… these guys don’t work at Black Mesa.

True, that’s why I only said the first one. I could see these guys at post in the high security areas or just wondering around aimlessly during break. But I agree with you completely, of course I do.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
