You know the TOW door? You should have the TOW shot be completely ineffective, perhaps just denting the door. And then some grunts should just knock it down.

Real life gets in the way sometimes, I’m afraid. It’s already filmed, and I’d like to have both versions out at once. There’s a chance I can do it over the next couple of hours, but don’t get your hopes up. More likely tommorow.
It’ll go up at the same time as the commentaried version.
I like to put them together at the same time. That way if people have any questions they’d like answered after watching the uncommentaried version, they can refer to the commentaried version. I’ll also do some comparison shots.

Upload has just started - should take 3 - 4 hours. Once that’s done I’ll put up the unedited version and the comparison shots on here.
Don’t expect it to be quite as polished as my last one, it’s not - it still has some quite big bugs. But it is very good, and I’m very happy with the way it turned out. I’m on the final stretch now to alpha release - just gotta polish up this level a bit more and touch up the Garg Chase.

Well although it seems like it’s nearly done I guess it’s far from over yet…
There’s a few scenes That I missed and although I think the main bulk of what was missing in these levels that textfamguy has admirably gave up time to do and to a great standard… Theres a few other things dotted around that I miss. If anyone else wants to add to this short list then please chip in but here are the scenes that I miss the inclusion of or would like to see tampered with or updated.
1.“Anomalous Materials” Update Test Chamber HL2 Teleportation effects (experiment) missing bullsquid on xen
2.“Unforseen Consequences” Update Better opening to the level an ambient sting and a slow blurred fade in from black right at the begining
3.“Office Complex” headcrabs being chopped up by a fan in the vent near the electrified cable
4.“Office Complex” Zombie behind the door scary moment

“Lambda Core” Alien Grunt which prizes the blast doors open scary moment

Very small scripted scenes or even effects work but I have to say It would be good to do these and strike them off one by one apart from the tentacle in the desert and on a rail is there any more that are missing or you think could be improved upon?
And I am only talking about adding the missing stuff or changing effects on already created stuff not sure how wel BMS source maps decompile?

Well bollocks. My internet crashed at 38%. Doesn’t happen often at all, and I reset my router. All my housemates are in bed now so there’s no internet usage aside from mine - shouldn’t happen again.

I’m not too comfortable with messing around with stuff outside of my ST chapters. I might attempt rebuilding some of On A Rail but I don’t really know how much longer it’s going to take me to get these ST chapters to a standard ready for proper release.
When I said I want BM more cinematic everyone trolled my thread, putting words into my mouth and misunderstanding my statements and demands.
This is exactly what I mean, cool scripted scenes, more effects etc. to make some boring parts feel more alive
