Summer Update

God, please don’t

Haven´t you heard? They cancelled this and started working on remake of Black Mesa in GoldSrc. They call it No-Life. But seriously, I think they´ve already decided when and if to give updates, so we get it when we get it.

@Crypt
You can call me Jim.
And i don’t know how is that harmful you or anyone in particular.

Harmful? No.

Annoying? Yes.

this doesn’t need bumped. what we do need is some sort of news post by the end of the month just to tell us things are on track… or if they are not. (I am sure we can all take another delay)

“I’m going to disregard standard forum etiquette on the basis that I’m impatient”

“This guy keeps bumping the Summer Update thread. I’d completely forgotten about that Xen thing we’ve been working on for two years, better release some media!”

We’ll get to it when we’re ready. Your bumping this thread isn’t harmful, but it is minorly annoying, because I do always check the threads when someone posts in them.

good to know you always check. makes me smile as so many official forums are never checked by the devs outside of updating people.

Would have a more rationalized answer but all i’ll say is :

Ok cool.

Aren’t they considering calling it “Get A Life”. :bms:

both names of actual mods.

Really? How about “1/2-Life”?

Your own fault for expecting Summer updates in Fall, really

But I thought Summer didn’t end if I just didn’t go back to school!

Stay in school, kids.

Reiterating and agreeing what TextFAMGUY1 said here. Now people are bumping the thread with off-topic non-posts (see previous two). And yes, I realise the irony of bumping the thread yet again, but what are you gonna do.

If it’s that annoying then why not lock the thread?

or just stop being annoying.

Stop posting in this thread you mean?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
