I’ve been waiting on this mod for the past…When was BM announced?..6-7 years ago? I can’t remember it’s been so long. Anyways, I thought it would be great to play BM, HL2, Episodes all back to back to get a truly awesome half-life experience. As the years have gone by, I have given up on that. This mod has pretty much become dead to me. Creators don’t update: which to me means 1) they don’t care about their fans and 2) they’re not actively working on the mod anymore (and actively doesn’t mean a few days out of the year…sorry).

Play Half-Life: source. I would play HL again, but over the years since it came out in '97 I’ve played it numerous times and it doesn’t quite do the same for me anymore.

O yeah, if you’ve never played the original HL, the STFU, get a copy, and play it. Not my fault that your parents were a little late bringing you into the world, but that’s no excuse to not play one of the most, arguably, greatest games the gaming community has ever seen.

Play the original Half-Life already. Everyone waiting for Black Mesa should have already done that, if not multiple times. If you don’t play the original (all the way through, more specifically), then you’ll never see the vast amount of improvement the Black Mesa development team has made to HL1.
