Haven’t the devs already finished the Resonance Cascade, as well as the Anomalous Materials Labs?
Well, since it falshes green when the shit happends, maybe youll se a really clear image of Gmans face between two green flashes, but just like .05 seconds.
I had a similar idea.
Instead of the G-Man though, it was for the Nihilanth.During the teleportation/dream scene I pictured an extreme closeup of his face, that panned to one of his eyes. It showed you the final threat but left a lot more to be seen.
I always felt exposition was poorly handled in the original Half-Life. There was absolutely no connection between the beginning and end; no conflict between the final antagonist and protagonist. It left a game where I felt no sense of purpose and didn’t care at all for a final boss that I didn’t know anything about if not for a single line from a scientist.
The games later improved on narrative. In Half-Life 2, the Citadel was visible from the very beginning and provided a clear goal. Dr. Breen and a Combine Advisor was seen in a teleportation mishap, which foreshadowed the end solution and the Advisor appearances expanded on a looming threat. In the original Half-Life, I had no idea why I was doing what I was doing for the most part, and had absolutely no idea why I was fighting a giant alien baby.
Here’s my idea:
Yes? No? Maybe?
What’s even better, let’s make an epic battle between G-man and Weegee into the end. The battle would result in the universe imploding.
And ON-TOPIC, the resonance cascade is fine at itself.
Why lamsey?
What is this I don’t even O_o
DO WANT.
Because walrus
I see.
I don’t think Gman should have a part todo with the RC. As far as anyone knows he could have been trying to prevent the test, Gordon gets called into work and the test is done ahead of time and preperation before the Gman bars them from proceeding…
See I ripped that idea from no where, but it could be true, and with that the original could have very well had the Gman in that scene but didn’t… so I say leave him out (not like the BM team would have added that anyways).
If Gman was trying to stop the test, why did he deliver the crystal in the first place?
Because he likes to contradict himself.
Looks up dictionary
Why does he like to do that?
Why does he do anything? He’s the fucking GMAN! No one knows why he does stuff!
Duuuuuude
What?
I like the whole weegee appearing thing
This idea reminds me of Fight Club, with all the Tyler flashes all over the place.
