^ If I was unclear about what I said, that is what I was trying to say, although this is much more elaborated. When I said to write the paper about different kinds of gods and how they all have negative points, I should have said that the purpose is not to make your father stop believing in God, that is pointless and will make your father sad and disappointed at you. The purpose is to make him understand that you have your own beliefs and that you are mature enough to have a different opinion instead of a molded one, but you should at least try to show that, despite having a mind of your own, you are not becoming a monster.
That is a nice idea if he has enough curiosity and if he is willing to spend his time. I honestly wouldn’t have patience to do it myself.
