Any mod for doom3 can be used with this analogy.
Just because you put icecream on top of a pile of shit, doesnt mean I want to eat it.

tell us again why Doom 3 is so bad
doom 3 is just bad, fact.
@Imonfire
Ubisoft has killed Prince of Persia.
Warrior Within was just great, Two Thrones started to get bad and Forgotten Sands was just the biggest fail ever.
Have you played the others? What do you think of it?
liar, Doom 3 was great
Looks like DOOM 3: Lens Flare and Overdone Blur Edition.
no, it was repetitive.
That happened to me and i just downloaded a save that i googled and it puts you right before the rocket with the gnome, wallah you have achieve
I’m a massive fan of PoP ever since Sands of Time came out. I think all three were great tbh, but yeah I agree that Two Thrones was a bit less awesome than the two others.
As for Forgotten Sands, I really liked it. It really felt like a PoP game imo, although I don’t know why they changed the Prince’s face so much. And it was a bit too easy. But I don’t see why it would be the biggest fail ever. Yes, they changed some of the game’s mechanics, but if they didn’t it would have felt like the developers just wanted to put out some money out of the franchise again.
That’s because I turned it up so it would show up in a screenshot. You can change the parameters yourself however you want.
The mod is fully customizable.
Everything is fucking repetitive.
Every single aspect of life, entertainment, and the universe is repetitive.
Eating, breathing, shitting, pissing, walking, and fucking is repetitive.
Every single video game when boiled down to their essential parts are repetitive.
That’s a terrible point.
ITT: People hate Doom 3 because it’s Doom 3.
Doom3 is a shadow of what came before it, they turned a fast fun, run and shoot murder house game into a slow, crawlfest with no lights and the occasional, thing, to jump out at you which is supposed to be ‘horror’. It effectively killed the series and is a worthless pile of crap.
Somehow EA recognised this and deicided to base the entire Dead Space game off it, but put in more lights.
That’s a fair reason.
Hey, that has a story though.
I’m not defending Doom 3’s repetition, I’m saying if you’re gonna hate a game you need a damn better reason then that. Games thrive on repetition. Collision named a much better example.

Name a game that thrives on repetition.
Super mario bros and it’s follow ups and most platformers: Run, jump, collect shit rinse, repeat.
Any shooter: walk, shoot.
Any RPG: walk, kill shit for exp, use exp to be able to kill more shit.
Here’s one. Name me a game that DOESN’T. Face it. To be is to be repetitive. That’s the way of things. All it is is a matter of keeping that repetition interesting so it doesn’t FEEL repetitive. D3 failed, others succeeded.
Keeping the repetition interesting = mixing things up = not being repetitive
You just boiled an entire genre down to two actions and you expect me to take your argument seriously?
Pong.
You can’t argue with me, you know I’m right.
