That is so fucking awesome. You could play through the game with a whole new experience. There’s gotta be a console command that disables lights somewhere I can find around the net. 
It’d make the game more difficult and simply give it a darker/scarier feel of the world.
Almost like a depressing world where the sun has died and darkness has overwhelmed the atmosphere. fucking sweet. haha.
You’d have to rejigger it so that you had a permanent illuminate spell on, though, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to use a shield or bow… Maybe to make it more immersive, do the same for all NPC’s, too. Maybe the lamps and stuff too. Actually, that would be fucking ace.
I’m saddened by the lack of console commands/mods that make it permanently night. 
Make one yourself, you lazy Welshman. Or go request on the official forums. It’s an interesting idea and there’s bound to be someone who’ll have a pop at it.
I’ve already looked around for such console commands or console commands to change the time of day.
I’ve even checked the .ini, but none have the commands as far as I can tell.

I tried changing the colors AND going into normal graphic detail (after getting this when I tried to go with premium), and it’s both looking awesome and giving a playable FPS. I’m so glad :’(

Fucking fantastic atmosphere, it’s easily the best of the 3. I’m still in the first area, just taking my time and enjoying it all. And installing lots of mods, of course.
