Action? I don’t see any. Wait, by action do you mean a badly framed picture of three manga-styled characters sitting around a fire? Or maybe do you mean the back of about 10 other characters in front of a lake doing abso-fuckin’-lutely nothing? Or maybe the third one where you can’t freakin’ figure out even barely what’s going on in there?
Oh and your boring picture of a sign displaying a childish, lame and unoriginal joke is somehow better?
Running toward boulders of snow is action.
We have to wait for the fish to come near us before we can aim and catch them with our spear guns me and this other player were just trying to catch the barrels nearby until the other school of fish appear.
The characters are not manga styled…only someone who stereotypes anime as anything that is remotely asian would say that.
It at least tries to add realism to the experience.
Armor will break off when it is damaged badly in that specific area.
Your character will get tired if they run, block or carry an object too long.
Weight distribution to attacks are all different depending on the weapons and armor.
Characters can also bleed to death and nail down enemies, stab them with a thrown spear or blast them with a bomb.
All objects have a certain weight and larger ones will make you tired easier.
And the third one is taken when a giant polar bear breaks through the ice wall shattering it to pieces then going after the enemies in front and then eventually coming at us.
I learned you need around 2+ people to actually hold the bear back since he is larger and stronger than most bosses. Usually you can pin the claw/chain gun to the enemy’s legs and trip him. If you have less than two people the bear will get angry and charge at you slashing you with it’s claws…
Hahahahahahahahah. This is truly developer fun right here. It may be serious, but then again, it’s totally inappropriate if you think the way everybody else thinks.
This is what I love about game detail and humor. And I hope Black Mesa has both lotsa detail and some small amounts of humor along the way.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
