The reason I said what I did was because you’d just said that people “lack real talent to do anything with photoshop other than default presets” and then posted pictures with lens flare.

Because ALL they do is add noise, glaussian blur. (sometimes they make it gray and black too) Obviously you’re to incompetent to realize 90% of the editing done in that strip was by hand. Wouldn’t surprise me if you where someone that can only add noise and blur to your own pictures.
Not only that but they do lack any REAL talent because all they do is add the same shit everyone else adds, can you explain to me how using a lens flare links with that? What because it looked a lot better with a lens flare you think you have some grounds to actually criticize me? Last time I checked having a lens flare in a photo didn’t make it a huge hit like having grain and blur did/does.

It’s not like complaining about subtitles. I’m guessing you don’t know much about graphic design, which is fine, I’ll explain my criticisms further.
Fonts are insanely important when you make a comic, they influence the whole style of the piece. You need to have similar fonts if you won’t to have a clear style.
White space is a definite issue. Not only does it look bad, it makes work look lazy as it’s easy to realign text or resize a bubble.
Use of cartoon speech bubbles doesn’t fit with the style of the strip, for reasons I’ve already outlined.
The blur transition is very poorly done, you’ve literally cut the rocks in half - above the fence they’re blurred, below they’re clear.
The shadows are lazy. It’s easy to introduce perspective and it would have been even easier to have a unified length: you’d only need to include the horizontal pole in the shadow.
I’m not sure what you don’t understand about the high/low quality textures. If you explain what you mean, I’ll expand on my point.

- I posted a old strip when I saw that one dude posting a couple of edited SS’s, It was easier to post it than it would’ve been to explain why I was bugging him about the fads.
Soup, being the troll he is decided it’d be a great time to do the thing he does and tells me how shitty everything is.
What he doesn’t understand (and apparently you don’t as well.) is that:
1.I don’t care.
2. My lifes career isn’t sitting on my ass making video game comics
3.It’s nearly 3 years old
4. I never said it was good in the first place
Considering that I don’t make textures and no one would have offered to do it for me back then anyway, it’s not that important. Even if I did care enough about it the only thing I could have done was to replace the textures in photoshop and that would have been completely unnecessary.

I didn’t plan spending an hour trying to get the best matching font and to get the speech bubbles to match up perfectly so some idiot wouldn’t be so butthurt about me not following his exact requirements

Your criticism is hardly “legit” You’re picking out little pieces of things that most people could careless about including me. I don’t careeeeeeee if someone doesn’t like something I do/did. GMOD was something I did for fun, not to impress anyone. It was to entertain myself and others.

All soups other criticisms are completely irrelevant and when I posted that entire “preview” on the forums I don’t recall ANYONE caring about the type of font I used or the space between the bubbles and font. Maybe because it’s really not a big deal?
