I had to crop out the HUD that decided to stay there even with HUD switched off, luckily it’s just a bit the sky you guys are missing 
I am definitely going to look into places that sell rFactor ASAP though, just going around Zolder constantly get’s kinda old… even with sexy textures…

Suprisingly, while surfing the interwebs I found some really nice mods, from which I found Point Defence Systems most visually appealing, and most importantly, a huge effort given into changing everything in the game, from armament, to the game sounds. This time, carrier and motherships are more than capable to defend themselves from bombers and smaller frigates. I highly recommend this mod if you want a higher dose of realism, but, on the other hand, this mod will remove that strategy planning which is important when playing the game (vanilla). Here are some pix:
