oh man everyone is playing metros
nice story make stories for me
How does the modding scene look for Metro 2033?
News just in, Black Mesa will now be released on the 4A Engine instead.
why , are you implying that Black mesa will look worse than this :fffuuu:
No, this engine just looks awesome.
Doubt it will happen, so far, its been quite a linear game.
A’ight, in that case I shall get it for 360…
Ok, enjoy not being able to aim at the incredibly fast enemies and not being able to do instant 180 turns when you hear noises behind you.
Plus, the PC version is Steamworks integrated, so you don’t need a CD to play.
why would you not be able to do 180 turns instantly?
L4D2 on 360 has a ‘spin 180’ button :fffuuu:
.
It works really well, surprisingly. Also, it’s not that hard to aim at first moving enemies, and I wouldn’t need to play with a disc.
Only that, and Resi games have this function to my knowledge. Should be more widely implemented imho
.
Fo’ Sho.
Aiming not so bad, but when the easiest enemy can easily take 4 pointblank shots with a shotgun, while hitting the relatively small head does heaps of dmg, when there are hordes of them coming at you, it gets a little tricky.
Point taken. I think renting may be in order…
It really should be, whatever game developers think, a gamepad is very limiting.
^Is that rFactor?
What a bad time to start a new page But yeah, it is.
fyi, it doesn’t look quite like that when you’re racing. I’m fooling around with a graphical plug-in that was originally made for SanAndreas.
Lots of things have been added, but in rFactor, basically, bloom works, and the other features are either completely broken, or not quite right. Depth of field and ambient occulsion are useable, but sometimes wrong.
Look at the screen again, it uses depth of field, bloom, and ambient occulsion;
why is that banner blurred? and it blurs chain link fences too, on the right side, that looks stupid. To get a good looking screenshot with the plugin, careful camera positioning is required.
And here’s another shot of the GTR, because it’s a damn fine looking car :awesome::awesome::awesome: Not using the plugin, normal rFactor;
