Funny, I always thought converse were cut smaller. I wanted to get some awesome special edition ones, but I never did because they didn’t have the size I needed

Last time I measured myself I was 5 feet 8 inches. But that was like 3 years ago. I’ve grown quite a bit more since then. My shoe size is 11 US and somewhere around 45 EUR.
Never understood why US’s shoe-size scale was so much more… specific? (that’s not the word I want…) than that of Europia and most of the world…
Lookin inside my shoes they are US12, UK11 and EUR45.5
So what do you mean by much more “specific”? I’m kinda confused.
Kinda weird, I bought some high tops about 2 1/2-3 years ago, I wear a US size 12 but even the 12.5 didn’t fit so I had the store custom order some size 13s.
I said specific wasn’t the word. I think the word I was looking for was… smaller. But that didn’t quite convey the feeling I wanted. The word smaller made it feel like (to me) I was asking why 4 was smaller than 25, and that wasn’t the type of question I was going for.
