It’s awkward to put them in at first but once you put them in, assuming you put them in correctly you can’t even tell they’re there. You just have to get over the aversion to touching your eyes.
Yep, 8 pairs last over a year for me, I just get new ones when the ones I have start getting blurry or uncomfortable, and that’s usually after 2-3 months. I hate glasses, they get dirty, they can break, they don’t cover part of your vision and they’re worse in the rain…not to mention that you need prescription sunglasses while with contacts you can just get anything you want.
Back on topic, nice hair fancy pants and I don’t see why anyone would take their glasses off just to take a picture lol.

It’s nice to have both. My eyes don’t like having contacts in them for more than 15 hours, so at night I tend to switch to my glasses. But I don’t think I’d ever wear glasses (again) as my primary means of vision.
