Contrary to popular belief, metal heads DO NOT have to be goth. I mean, don’t get me wrong, lots of goths are metal heads, my ex for example.
But I’m really into metal and I’m not goth.
In the UK, anyone who likes metal, hardcore etc… are all classed as goths. For example, you see someone with a bullet for my valentine t-shirt on, you say “Look at that goth over there”.
Same applies for slipknot etc…
To you, maybe. I’ve yet to meet another UK-er who classifies all people who listen to metal as gothic.

Generally, ^ this is true, bullet kick ass, and so do bring me, metal, deep and meaningful music will usually land you with GOTH or EMO from 13 year old’s in our country.
Most people don’t say things like this to me or my friends.
