games that have lean, the use button for me is f. All other times it’s e.

I don’t get using arrow keys too, I mean, what if you want to bind to nearby buttons?

There’s at least 10 keys close enough to the arrows to use without excessive hand movement. 18 if you have larger hands.

Not sure how many you generally use in shooters, but I usually only use 4 (excluding the movement keys). I do use ZQSD, though, just because I never knew you could change that when I played my first game.

Yeah, there are keys close to the dpad…but with wsad they’re closer :expressionless:

It’s just a matter of personal preference. When I was little and my dad had just gotten half-life 1, the movement keys were the arrow keys, crouching was r-ctrl, jumping was KP_ins, and walking was R-shift. My dad still used E for use. I changed it after that so that use was either insert, which is more convenient on some keyboards than others, or middle click depending on the game.

you are weird

Thanks.

WASD is credit to team! I’m playing with a fucking touchpad, so I really have no room to talk.

Not sure how I got my previous binds (DN3D? Quake?), but it was always a hassle re-binding games for RFDG (and every other fucking key). So I learned default when I finally got around to playing Portal. WSAD, ftw!

Wait, why are we still talking game controls in a picture thread?
Speaking of which, the gallery is down now that Catz’s gone?

the half-life 2 controls ftw

i use them in every game, and get confused when it’s not like that by default

Since when was this pocket about gaming controls?

Since the forum can’t maintain a topic to save their lives.

I still wasn’t aware anyone didn’t use wasd.

Just keepin it on topic.

But yea, I think I only ever used to used arrow key commands with Mechwarrior.

That shirt is so ridiculous its actually awesome.

2 weeks of beard growth. I’m documenting.

Updates by the hour please.

Hell, let’s just stream your face live at the top of the forum.

This is the happiest I’ve seen you all year.

It’s the only time this year you’ve seen me afaik.

Among others I believe.

Only steers and queers look at old pages of Post Your Pic.
