As has been said though, it’s starting to get tired. I think it needs to die young and be immortalised, like James Dean. Everyone will look back at it and talk about how cool it was and always will be forever, about how it arrived on the scene and blew everyone away, before crashing and burning while it still had the fire.
If I leave it open it will turn into Elvis. Sure, it’ll still be hugely popular, but it’ll get fat and old whoring itself out in Vegas/the Ladies Club (is there a difference?), before finally dying an ignominious death on the toilet after being stuffed full of junk food, and the only people who still talk about it will be idiot conspiracy theorists who’ll say the thread never really died but just carried on somewhere out of the public eye, not to mention all the impersonators who’ll try (and fail) to recreate the magic.
