Am i the only one that can never get used to using docks on windows? Just never feels right =[
Personal preferences I guess. I like to see my wallpaper so I put my most used programs in a dock.
i generally untick the show on desktop option, and remove dock 
I keep everything on the task bar.
the important things like steam internet, documents?
Tis what I do. i like my desktop clean. besides some cpu and gpu checks down the side.

What I’d love on my desktop is to get that calender in the bottom right corner like you have, but I’m guessing it’s one of those Windows 7 themes you have to pay for.
