man that mod was creepy as hell.
check out all of the Dear Esther remake screens on moddb - I think that that one is one of the least impressive of all of them.
I have updated it, downloading the mod as Im typing this. Looks good tbh.
God that game looks like fun… even if all you do is shoot things.

Just realised I never used any of the icons on the desktop so I removed them. (All 37 (or so) of them. :fffuuu 
At least it looks clean now.
You don’t need to remove them, just turn them off in View settings.
I double click my desktop to hide them 
Haha you said it, never thought of that! (Although it seems KIND OF obvious now.)
Plus, you could just disable the icons and access any desktop stuff in a toolbar.
Most annoying thing in the world for me. Sure, I like a clean desktop, but I would never want to wade through the start menu to get to what I want.
As I said, I don’t really use any of those icons since I have in fact all the shortcuts I tend to use in the toolbar. 
But yeah, I definately see what you mean.
There is already a thread for the NSFW pics, you might have done better to post that desktop in there rather than in here. So for times where you are posting outside of that thread, you really should link to it rather than display it. This is so that others browsing this thread are not caught at work looking at bewbs.
I would be awful grateful if you could edit that for us and just link it.

I would prefer to not use my abilities for something that (at best) is simply bending the rules a bit. I know I hate it when moderators get all bent out of shape over something stupid/silly/harmless (sternly looks directly at the steam forum moderators) so I prefer to only thump only the obvious.
