Post Your Desktop

Uni computer room, made use of one of the monitors on my laptop  With an appropriate wallpaper, no less.

ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL

Fuck it. Nothing bar the wallpaper ever changes in my desktop. At least I have some tunes to soak up the ordinariness there… and send me dashing through the wish-world of dreams…

:fffuuu:

When the hell are you gonna change that thing?

I don’t know how to make the icons stay at the top.

Anyway, this is mine as-of now:

Briken link…

Yeah it got corrupted somehow. I fixed it.

Samzala, you’ve got an authentic HEY KIDS ITS ME FACE for a desktop, you must be a pretty cool guy

Om my god, was that a fucking spider wallpaper?

Officially don’t pimping the UI to the point where it’s different enough, but not plain annoying.

If anyone cares, the tools I used: GeekTool (for the info), DragThing (for the device dock on the right), CandyBar (to simplify the process of changing icons, but this can be done without this app), BowTie (for the iTunes info on the bottom right), ThemePark (for some slight edits to the menubar)

There’s one thing I’d still like to add, and that’s some sort of mod/spacer/whatever to change the grid layout on which icons are placed. Right now I’m using 5-6 invisible folders to make sure new files/icons appear over the info, but that’s quite annoying when using Finder (6 empty spaces appear).

I was sad, so I decided to counter this by having a happy wallpaper.

Bolteh, I dislike your wallpaper. Makes me think my screen is dirty :stuck_out_tongue:
.

I was fooled too.

Is that banana paper?

Making icons has got to be one of the easiest tasks ever. I made almost half of these. Also this is a really small and shitty picture because I used paint.

I WANT THAT WALLPAPER

Here

thx, awesome, I guess I don’t need to post my desktop then :stuck_out_tongue:

@bolteh: Next time people tell me my screen is dirty, i’ll say it’s the wallpaper.

Its a WIP setup for Rainmeter right now. Give me some feedback of what you think of it.

It’s not that I don’t like that clock, BUT that being one of the default rainmeter clocks it is a bit overused.

Nah, it’s some random bit of recycled paper I found through Google that I Fotosobbed to get a stylish, yet rough look (read: I applied a Soft Light gradient).
