Post Your Desktop

I just got 2 new batteries for my droid 2 for 2.70$ each from amazon.

I mean I just received them, they probably ran out of stock already. :stuck_out_tongue:

for 3$/1500mAh I could replace all the batteries in all of my devices, if only they were all interchangeable without fucking around with the battery casing.

Edit: wrong thread. D’oh!

That’s easy (sort off) in Windows 7. First, pick all the pictures you want in rotation and put them in one folder. Then, right click desktop, select Personalize, click on Desktop Background at the bottom. At the top of the window, navigate to the folder where the pics are, click select all, set the time delay at the bottom and shuffle if you want and click Save Changes. Boom! slideshow wallpaper!

Any way here’s mine:

Thank you! That’s why I use glass gadgets.

You realise that the post you’re replying to is almost two years old, right?

:awesome:

I wonder who really goes and reads the archive that far back…I only ever do that on very rare occasions, if I’m looking for something specific. How much time do you really ahve on your hands?

Well, shucks. :frowning:

When I looked at the first page and I saw the jump to list it showed page 1, 2, 3, 11, 51, 101. I clicked on 101 thinking it was the last page. I neglected to check the posting date.

In the intervening two years, did you get your wallpaper sorted?

Haha, I guess that is forgiveable.

I had it shuffled for a while, but now I tend to stick with just the one.

Mind sharing that background? there’s just something about huge vistas that i love.

next time, just drag the image to google images

I’m glad that you knew Google images could do that because I forgot. I had no idea that was from Rage and I can’t remember where I got the image from. I wouldn’t have been able to provide the source.

New desktop- my own dubious way of protesting SOPA.

It’s alright.

Installed Windows 7 in Parallels desktop on my school Macbook Pro. Changed to windows classic for power saving reason and thought, “why don’t I go all the way?” Said and done, I found the Windows 98 themes online plus the screensavers. The themes packages aren’t completely supported though, have to change all icons manually and some sound files where reset to windows 7 default when I rebooted.

Only a mac user would think that using Windows classic would save you any amount of power.

Yeah, whats the thinking there?

Classic represents simplicity.

Simplicity is the opposite of complexity.

Complexity mandates information.

Information readily becomes knowledge.

Knowledge is power.

By going Classic, he is saving power.

[COLOR=‘Black’]Also, he said power, not electricity. I interpret it as processing power. Only a dim-witted user of Windows would fail to realize that its themes and animated graphics degrade system performance-- and that there is a reason its Pro or Server softwares are less inclined to pursue such aesthetics. Only a moron would then take his faulty interpretation and bring Macintosh into the picture for no comprehensible reason.

:jizz:

It does save power, even if it’s a minor amount. It’s because you turn off Aero, I could go with windows basic but it’s ugly.

Linux Mint 12 + Cinnamon WM.

Yep, I know. It’s quite messy.

Genius, FERGUS. Simply genious!
