The idea of gender based colours comes from theory that females have adapted to be more responsive to reddish colours, which would assist in gathering of various fruits and berries. While I’ve seen scant evidence to prove this, it is interesting to note that my favourite colour is red.

Now, on topic, I decided to recolor the strider (how could I forget? Srsly!), so I did that today and took some pics, but I feel it looks kinda purplish. I’ll fiddle with it more, but this is what it is looks like, as for now at least.

Now that I look at the pics, I guess this recolor doesn’t look as terrible as I thought…
