Pimp your...

Playing on the N64 had a couple of advantages;

1: no hand cramps, the N64 controller is so comfortable.
2: you could hold down the L bumper and fast forward, made the long treks between towns a breeze, same with looking for pokemon.
3: Nice big screen.

Reminds me of Star Wars Kid.

Also, I still have my green Gameboy Pocket, but sadly I can’t find any of my games for it, so all I can do is turn it on and off. :frowning:

That’s why I emulated most GB games on my PSP/PC/iPaq. Except for pokemon and a few other games.

The funny thing is, I managed to do almost all the glitches on the gameboy rather then in emulators.

  1. Get missingno
  2. put rare candy in slot 6
  3. ???
  4. PROFIT

I remember missingno. I caught one and it slowly started to corrupt my game with strange graphical glitches, then it eventually wiped out my entire progress. I :’('d

Missingno is weird, what version you catch depends on your name or something. I know I got the 'M one, which is one of the less harmful versions.
also every gameboy I’ve had since the gameboy colour has been pink or transparent pink. I think my parents hate me.

It shouldn’t of, the only thing it does bug is the hale of fame, and the graphics, but the graphics can be returned to normal by viewing something in the pokedex.

Also, you can catch certain pokemon my chnaging your name.

You can even catch Professor Oak if you set your name to the write thing.

I know professor oak is a hilarious glitch trainer, but I don’t think he’s catchable. If he is I’m going to be up all night trying.

hehe.

I’m pretty sure it corrupted my game in Blue, but this was a long time ago so I don’t really recall . I also had Yellow, but I can’t remember if he was catchable in that version. I wish i still had my cartridges. :frowning:

Nope, they fixed the missingno glitch in yellow.

I still have my Blue at home and a

so I might Pokemon it up tonight!

You can still catch it via a different method but in the same spot.

It just takes a lot lot longer.

You can also trade it over to yellow from red or blue with the same effects it has on them.

There’s a lot of cooler and less dangerous glitch pokemon though, but a lot of them evolve to normal pokemon at like level 1.

Then all we need is a system link cable!

I TOTALLY HAVE ONE!
Sure it’s for connecting a color system to my older one, but the cable for advanced and color are the same, so I can trade pokemon between them, and it works fine. Battling is a different story though, lots of glitches.

Get it packaged up and mail it to Sydney. Then it’s NSW here I come!

I’ve still got a copy of blue (my old CGB and Game Boy Pocket are damaged beyond repair and missing beyond relocation,Respectively) the bottom of the label has been worn off but it works nonetheless.

I have a gameboy pocket somewhere. Not colour, but see-through. Shits awesome.

I have never owned a gameboy.
