Pimp your...

The psp is slightly larger, yes, but the memory stick is considerably smaller, and at the same time, bigger, if you see what I mean. If you stacked the memory cards into a cartridge-type shape, you could probably store more than twice the entire N64 library on them.

You could have saved alot of trouble and simply said “I like the nostalgia and feeling of actually using an N64”, but nooo…

You have to admit, I just about defended a $100 piece of 1996 equipment against a $400-$1200 collection of 2010 hardware. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t see why you can’t just hush and appreciate the skills it took to justify a spur-of-the-moment thrift-store purchase of a game I’d always regretted not having. Please note that I started this out making fun of your wording.

The laptop has a monitor built in. With the N64, you’ve probably got it hooked up to a TV that is bigger than most laptops are these days.

I don’t know about Sersoft, but I have a 16 GB stick. I could probably fit the N64 library on that alone two times over.
(I don’t know what the overall size of the N64 library is, but I somewhat doubt it’s more than the 14 GB my stick holds)

I do admit though, I’m with Tiki on this one. I’d rather play an N64 game on an N64. That might change if I ever follow Col’s example and get a USB box that you can plug an N64 controller into. I definitely wouldn’t play them on my PSP, the controls are too awkward.
(I do have a GBA emulator and a couple SNES emulators on my PSP, though)

The controls aren’t too bad actually, but there’s the obvious issue of speed, not all games run 100%.

If I had an N64, I would play games on that, but as it is, I don’t have one. But I still have my Dreamcast hooked up, and game on that. I tend to use PJ64 when the nintendo craving sets in, although buying an N64 wouldn’t be a huge outlay these days…

I have an 8Gb produo :frowning:

I have a 64. I use PJ64 for the fact that allows use of gameshark codes. I barely touch my 64 anymore.

But isn’t taking really stupid stands what the internet is for?

I have PJ64 because my N64 video out broke, and rather then send it away and pay to get it repaired, I chose a cheaper option and get a USB adaptor for my N64 controllers so I can play the roms like they are meant to be played.

I’d rather use a controller that doesn’t assume I have more limbs than normal.

You’re a failure as a vortigaunt.

A fact I am reminded of daily.

New bag for snow riding :

Something i very much needed a hard copy of :

Daft Punk - Alive 07

I need a new pair of boots. I haven’t had a good pair since… 2001 or 2002? Maybe?

Now’s the season.

And from what I’ve felt walking tonight, you can’t go wrong with L.L.Bean. Obviously I’m still wearing them in, so a couple spots feel weird, but aside from that I’m loving everything about them.

i bought it just now! it’s fucking awesome.

Money well spent, I’m sure. (On the Kinect)

Skip the Kinect and get to playing Uncharted 2.

Kinect is a Christmas present so =D

And I’ll hopefully play UC2 soon…

looks at unplayed copies of RDR and KZ2

Play RDR also!
