Pimp your...

It’s one of the few things here that I can keep on pimping.

Though one time, when I was leaving my apartment, I saw this:

The car itself can go quicker. But i don’t think your aware that if you caught doing more than 90MPH in the UK, its an instant ban. They ban you there and then at the road side. Not worth the risk.

Your country is infested with speed cameras too isn’t it?

Yeah, on main roads in towns, there everywhere! But we have areas known as “national Speed limit”. Mainly its on dual carriage ways and country roads. No speed cameras on the country roads part, and you can go as fast as the conditions allow, but the limit is 60MPH, although everyone goes faster and in most outback roads the police aren’t bothered.

But yeah, town centres are speed camera infested, 30MPH, speed bump loving shit holes.

there’s Kurt <3

Nikon D40 and a Galaxy S II

This weekend has been good for pimpin’

pimping my rubriks cube.

someone should invent a kubrick’s cube

and give me the nikon please

I cannot supply you with the camera. Fortunately for you, I can supply you with a pinch of envy, no doubt;

The nearest one is a D60, a newer model, the one in the background is the D40

HOLY SHIT that looks infinitely badass.

My dad has a load of analogue SLR equipment(the D60 shown is his), so he’s messing around with lenses and seeing how they’ll work with a newer D-SLR.

Apparently, not all that well. Because the camera can’t communicate with the lense, the amount of stuff you can configure is pretty small so most shots are hit and miss.

I have the F70 (analogue) and I like it. The downside to analogue is that you have to wait pretty long to get your photos and it’s fucking expensive to get the negatives developed :frowning:

three $10 shirts from Threadless

Gotta love loopholes.

Just finished building this today, I’ve named it the Spudchucker. I have yet to test it, but I can only assume that it works I guess.

Consists of 4 inch abs piping for the chamber and 2 inch abs for the barrel. The chamber is actually composed of fittings held together with short pieces of pipe, rather than pipe held together by fittings. This way, the outer wall of the chamber is twice as thick for the most part. Which is comforting considering abs turns into shards when it explodes and would inevitably riddle my body with bits of plastic. I installed a mechanical BBQ igniter (the screws inside the chamber) in the angled handle as a backup in case the electronic igniter (the other set in the chamber) fails, for redundancy. The handles I filled with expanding foam so that hopefully they don’t explode and shred my hands.

The chamber is approx 22 inches long and the barrel is a shade under 4 and a half feet. I used threaded fittings on the end of the chamber and barrel so I could make a different sized barrel in the future if I need to.

Will post a video hopefully once it cures and I can chuck some taters with it. From what I’ve read, I’m hoping for 200 yards or so.

EDIT: NOTE TO SELF. SHOULD NOT FIRE IN THE HOUSE
