Pimp your...

I’ve never had good luck with smart phones, I have an iPhone 3Gs that’s stuck at the emergency screen for ever and ever(after I spent 100$ to fix the LCD), I have an HTC Dream (G1) that can only charge batteries even though it’s less than a year old, I have three winmo 6.5 phones that are locked to a cdma(no sim card) carrier and have no wifi, also two dead blackberries (only white screen).

My current phone is an LG that doesn’t let the user turn off the annoying sounds like (headphones/usb/charger pluggedin/unplugged, switching between menu items, when I have a missed call it beeps every 5 minutes and changing the volume makes it ring) all these sounds play even in silent mode and when the volume is all the way down with the headphones plugged in (plays through the speaker) also it has the loudest phone speaker I’ve ever heard.

You…spend large amounts of $$$…FIXING ELECTRONICS??!

This is not normal sersoft behavior surely

I was really hoping to have a pocket device with wifi that doesn’t suck ass for typing (the PSP)

meanwhile people around me who don’t know the difference between a tower and a monitor all have an iphone4 or a HD android device. (even my mom and step-dad, who can’t properly use the phone because he can’t see shit on the screen)

I remember that iPhone, it was blacklisted was it not? I found an iPhone once, it had its IMEI number bared, which means its essentially an iPod touch, but i already had one so sold it on Ebay claiming i had no idea why it wouldn’t connect to the networks and that i wasn’t very “tecky”.

£200 for that bad boy!
: D

mine was that, plus no wifi, plus it rebooted by itself every 10 minutes

Finally getting my first car in June, can not wait!

Nice! What’s it gonna be?

Pimp mah cheap but slightly outdated and definitely ugly laptop (this will replace my 700 mhz amd athlon used for msn messenger)

totally unexpected, it runs half life 2 at 20 to 100 FPS (20 during the slowest of slowdowns) even though it has a 32mb Radeon 7000 (not x700, a few generations earlier) it only runs in dx7 mode though.

DirectX 7 … How cute!

better than nothing

u jelly? :3

I always lurk on ebay for ridiculous deals and it cost me 40$

I wanted a pentium 4 because I completely skipped this generation of laptops, I went from a pentium I to a pentium II then a pentium III laptop then directly to a core 2 duo (which has lower FPS in hl2 in dx7 mode).

i’m very jelly haha. I used to have to play HL2 in DX7 mode with my GeForce 4, shit was so cash man

I want to get something small-medium, anywhere from $3,000-$6,000 so I might get a Mitsubishi Lancer 4-door, or a Mazda 4-door, maybe even a Subaru Impreza if I can find a good one.

Leaning more towards Lancer 4-door at the moment, just because a few of my mates have them and they are great little cars. Lots of room, great fuel economy and I like the look of them.

Well I can’t tell for the Lancer, but Subbies are incredibly fun to drive, although they’re not that great for fuel economy.

I pretty much can’t get insured on anything close to a 2 liter engine. =[

Bad driving record or is it just generally too expensive? :stuck_out_tongue:

Pimping out my newly repaired LCD.

Bliss.

EDIT: More wonderful pictures.

It seems to be working fine.

You need LCD shutter glasses to see it properly.

Or lightly tap your screen on the side so it flies across the room, seemed to fix mine a lot of times.

punch it

warning: it might crack, causing a vertical white stripe from top to bottom to appear
