I’m pretty sure that airsoft guns are supposed to have orange tips. Or is that just the US?

Its a US only law and applies to all airsoft guns in the US. You don’t have to keep them on once you get them though, so most are removed.
Airsofts without orange tips are illegal here too, and you have to keep them on so they can’t be mistaken for real firearms. Even then I think you also have to carry them in a safety bag or something.
No orange tip required as long as you don’t intend to run around with the gun in public. The guns also need to be adjusted to fire at less than 380 fps for automatic rifles, or 600 for bolt-action rifles.

Don’t have coyotes, foxes, rats, squirrels, or whatever qualifies as vermin over here. Plus there’s strict laws for owning weapons, and that M4 qualifies as a weapon of war (as would the G36, obviously), which is pretty much prohibited for any normal civilian.
We have doors and windows and alarms as home defense, plus there isn’t all that much criminal activity over here anyways.
I mainly do airsoft because I enjoy meeting up with a bunch of friends and 100 other random people and playing CoD/BF/CS in real life. Also acts as a pretty damn good stress or anger relief.
Yeah I didn’t really care that its an airsoft. It’s fine that you go and do that. It’s just a little joke. I don’t mind it that really.
But for future refrence, (I’m just laughing my pants off right now) my rifle isn’t an m4. It’s an AR15 variant that is only semi automatic. M4s are illegal to own here in America unless you are some fancy pants rich person who can afford the paperwork and rifle itself. It takes a lot of time and money to acquire the licence for automatic weapons.

I just picked up that G36 because I wanted something else than an AK or an M16/4, and I liked the G36 most in terms of looks.
I definitely would have guess that that’s an M4. It looks exactly the same to me.
Esentially it is, just the civilian version of the same gun.
Such as this is the Civilian version of the UMP but it is called the USC.
I’ve got a few airsofts. My nicest is an M4 with a folding stock that I tricked out with a red dot sight. I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to do much with it other than use it as a film prop, sadly. I might post a pic of it later today.

Yeah, she’s a .22, but she’s beautiful. Grandad wanted to get me a .22 so I can “learn rifle safety”, even though I’ve been on a rifle team for well over two years now. :meh:
